Sweet Restaurant Slaw



Ingredients:
1 (16 ounce) bag coleslaw mix2 tablespoons diced onion2/3 cup creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip™)3 tablespoons vegetable oil1/2 cup white sugar1 tablespoon white vinegar1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds

Instructions:
Combine the coleslaw mix and onion in a large bowl. Whisk together the salad dressing, vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar, salt, and poppy seeds in a medium bowl; blend thoroughly. Pour dressing mixture over coleslaw mix and toss to coat. Chill at least 2 hours before serving.

Cherry Dessert



Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs3/4 cup margarine, melted1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese1/2 cup white sugar1 dash vanilla extract1 dash almond extract1 cup heavy cream1 (12 ounce) can cherry pie filling

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish. In small bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted margarine. Stir well and press into baking dish. Bake 5 minutes. Cool. In large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and almond extract. Mix well. In a medium bowl, whip cream until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture. Spread over cooled crust. Dot with cherry pie filling, and smooth with knife or spatula to cover. Chill in refrigerator until serving.

Appetizing Bread



Ingredients:
1 (1 pound) loaf unsliced white bread1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese1 cup grated Romano cheese6 cloves garlic, crushed1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley1 cup extra virgin olive oil2 tablespoons dried red chile peppers

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Place the unsliced white bread loaf in a large oven safe serving dish. Cutting only about half way down the loaf, make 8 slices. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese, Romano cheese, garlic, parsley, and 1/2 the extra virgin olive oil over loaf. Spread dried red chile peppers around base of bread. Bake in the preheated oven approximately 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted but not browned. Remove from oven and cover with remaining olive oil. Serve at once!

Sweet Dinner Rolls



Ingredients:
1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)1/2 cup warm milk1 egg1/3 cup butter, softened1/3 cup white sugar1 teaspoon salt3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast1/4 cup butter, softened

Instructions:
Place water, milk, egg, 1/3 cup butter, sugar, salt, flour and yeast in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Dough/Knead and First Rise Cycle; press Start. When cycle finishes, turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide dough in half. Roll each half into a 12 inch circle, spread 1/4 cup softened butter over entire round. Cut each circle into 8 wedges. Roll wedges starting at wide end; roll gently but tightly. Place point side down on ungreased cookie sheet. Cover with clean kitchen towel and put in a warm place, let rise 1 hour. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until golden.

Dessert Pizza



Ingredients:
1 (18 ounce) package refrigerated sugar cookie dough1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed1/2 cup sliced banana1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained1/2 cup seedless grapes, halved

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Press cookie dough evenly into a 12 inch pizza pan. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack. Spread whipped topping over cooled crust. Arrange fruit in a decorative pattern. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
